What’s the best processor to make accurate 6 inch logs

The WP range has a plate to stop bad falls. With practice you can spot potential bad fallers before the happen & use the plate.

 

I did an IBC today & did some short ones to see how it did.

 

They were about 4"-8" dia & it cutting short none would fall bad unless they had odd shapes.

 

As you will not do odd shapes for kindling you wont have a problem.

If you set it for 6 inch does it consistently cut them say 5 3/4 to 6 1/4 if that makes sense . Can you grip the last 6 inches of cord wood and cut it or is it to unstable to hold down

I though I replied to this. 

 

Below about 8" its hard to hold down as the weight / distance sticking out is greater than whats on the bed with just 1" still holding it. You could easily extend the holder. I am not sure why I have never done so.
