Hi does the tw160 when idling have a knocky rumbling sound as usual coming from flywheel area? It disappears as soon as revs go up and on full revs there’s a slight pulsing maybe but only very slight and this is not really an issue. My tw125 doesn’t have this sort of sound at all and is smooth on tickover and full revs.. maybe it’s just what’s tw160s sound like?

Flywheel bearings on the way out. Rumbling at idle is often the first sign.

You want to take the belts off and get a proper length lever bar down the side of the flywheel checking for any play.
