Well, in stock form, both with 1/4” 2500 is not much slower than 2511. It actually has more torque but at slightly lower rpms. Takes a while until you get used to adaptive motor control with 2500 but once you do it cuts just as fast, with less effort and saves you some runtime. And yes, as the name suggests it’s a pruning saw comparable to 25cc petrol class and was made to be just it.  Meanwhile toppers from other brands position themselves as 35-40cc equivalents hence more weight and power.
