I got the 306 during lock down and am impressed so far. I'm not a climber but wanted something small and quieter to use at home and on fencing jobs. It cuts differently to a petrol saw, sort of stalls in the cut if you don't pay attention but certainly gets the job done

And as longevity goes I’ve had a Mak DUC353 for 2 and a half years now and literally the only one I’ve had to do any work to it is putting a derailed chain back on. They’re going up in price a bit now though, mine was only £120 (bare). Probably the best £120 I’ve ever spent!
