Fitting the m Tronic service kit (orange and black fuel filter plus white solenoid valve) from L&S (price as above) to my 2017 261cm cured unreliable tickover, "piss revving" and inability to reset as it wouldn't run in start position.   It is not even necessary to remove the carb.  All good now thanks to your information.

Great to hear, hope it runs for a long while. You can get the finer fuel filter (the orange mesh type), by its self as well, run them in my two saws and strimmer. Bit of extra piece of mind.
