Tw150 bottom roller removal?

Hiya

 

The bolts on the grease nipple side of my tw150 bottom roller have sheared. I’m trying to get the roller out so I can have a go at removing them. The roller doesn’t lift out like I’d read, so I’ve taken the 3 Allen bolts out the other side hoping that parts would slide out and then I have room to remove the roller, but that doesn’t seem to shift. I do t want to be too hard on it yet so was wonder if anyone had some advice?

If the bolts have Sheard is there a rough edge of the Sheard bolt protruding out of the side. If you have undone the bolts it should just lift out, have you got a device like an engine lift to assist you.

Hi the drive side motor has to be removed the remove allens you there have to remove spline 6B retro, this can be rusted in. Pull this round drive plug out. Once you have done this it does come out with a fight. If your bolts have not broken flush it wont roll out. Then its a hopper off and take the box side off job.

Thanks for the replies chaps. I’ve managed to do it. After getting the three bolts out the motor side I took the thin green ring out and then the spline bit came out and the roller popped out east after that. The bolts had sheered the other end so I drilled those and helicoil them [emoji106]

You have to watch the green Bearing if its loose on spline drive replace it both sides. When your that far into it. Turn the 2 anvils too. They are double sided.
