Qualcast manual

[Test_of_time]

Hello all,

 

I have a 2004 Qualcast classic 35s mower with the Tecumseh AQ148 engine. Can anybody tell me where I can find an engine manual. I'm just looking for service info (plug gap, tappet setting) etc.

Thanks Ratman. I hadn't seen the allotment-garden website before, it looks really useful. Unfortunately, the Tecumseh manual covers the American made engines and not the Italian one in my mower. Any other ideas?

Thanks again. I'll give them a try when they re-open! I've also found a local dealer (Gateshead lawnmower centre) who used to service Qualcast classics. I'll give them a go too.

4 to 8 thou clearance on both valves, but TBH they seldom need adjustment.

25thou on the plug.

Not much else to say really, pretty bombproof engines.
