I'm going to pick up 600kg of salt tomorrow to spread all round the farm, if it does the job like its advertised I'm probably gonna buy another big bag to split into 25kg ones and sell to general public. Thought it'd compliment my logs quite nicely.

Anyone else sell it??

We rung round all the DIY chains in town today and everywhere had sold out of the stuff:confused1::confused1::confused1:

I have been everywhere to try and get some today but no joy. My son has to tow my car or van up the lane to the main road for me to get out. You may have to sit on it for a while but if you advertise that you stock it so everyone knows where to go when the time comes you cant fail.

how much you charging for 25kg bags ben, is it bown rock salt or white.

I was think around £6 or £7 a bag. I'll triple my money if i do it at £6, providing i sell it all.

Not sure what its like yet though so holding fire until we try it on the farm in the morning. All our yards are like ice rinks so hoping its good stuff :)

By the time the suppliers get new stock, it'll be over and done with:001_smile:

My suppiler has 1000's of tons of salt, might be as useful as a chocolate tea pot mind, we'll see in the morning.

Wickes charge £5.41 for 25kg b&q is £3.99 but are sold out best i can get it bagged is £2.80 brown rock salt or £3.15 white rock salt if order 1000+ bags at a time, i find the hanson salt is the best as soon as it hits the ice it starts popping - hope your not putting it lose in the pickup!
