If by swaged you mean compacted, as in the individual wires are not circular in section, then no, Tirfor Maxiflex®️ rope is the same as the bog standard kind, but instead of six outer strands it only has four, with a steel core strand (or possibly a solid wire core, I don't know).

The Habeggers are Swiss made and top quality. Better still they are aluminium and much lighter than the equivalent Tirfor.

There is a UK distributor but you don’t see many around. I found mine on EBay, but I suspect they may be eyewateringly expensive new.
