Me and my wife are there in February, mother has just been, always wanted to go ( we enjoy our history) and I think it's good (not good but you get me) to see something other than the stuff you see in ww2 films and the like. It'll certainly be sobering, I'll see how long I can last

done the normandy landings a couple times now, very moving the war graves. Sometimes you drive along and there will be half a dozen in a field, all immaculate. You dont come across the german graves the same, they were all dug up and put into a couple large mass graves as the locals didnt want them on the land.

 

Very easy to visit for us and the normandy coast is beautiful.
