I am hoping i have just been unlucky and got one with a "minor issue"!!!!! I am guessing they will replace the broken bits, just frustrating as i had to go back to the old faithful that i made a year ago!! That never breaks as its mild steel and completely over engineered by myself. Its tractor mounted so hence why i bought this.

I can honestly say that Theocus's A12 is the only one of any model vertical we've ever seen do that and with it happening over Christmas this thread is the first I've heard about the problem.

Unfortunately no one is back in the office until Monday morning but I'll be onto Balfor first thing to get it sorted if we can't lift the parts off one in the yard I'll get them shipped straight out.

Fair play to the boys at Riko, i have received a new splitter head and Chris (above) was in the office on a Sunday sorting it out.

The machine is now tearing through my log pile and it would seem that that was prob just one of those one in a million bad eggs that you occasionally get with machinery.

Again a big thanks to Chris and Stephen for sorting it all out so quickly.
