Went to buy this saw today, stihl dealer didn’t know it existed, stihl rep knew nothing about it had to make a call,seems it’s not available till maybe October. What’s the point in advertising the saw they don’t even know how much it’s going to cost !!!!

pre launch to get interest. Look on the bright side, if you went and purchased a lesser saw without knowing this one was coming you'd be annoyed come October!

So in the first paragraph stihl has launched, is not entirely correct or true!

I suppose in this case launch just means make known. I agree, it probably could be clearer.

 

Is it worth waiting for? If you're a battery fan, and have a need of a ground saw in this power band then i'd say yes.
