Hi, I'm stuck on splicing 2 separate ropes into one.  Not sure what it's called and can't find anything but eye splicing on internet.  I'm sure it's probably easy to figure out but I have no rope to practice with so need to do it right first time.

I'll add a pic of what I'm trying to do.

Thankyou

That looks like an eye splice that has just been cut off. Sorry if I'm missing something though.

What is the application?

Sorry to hijack your thread Kylie, do you know of any splicing courses in the summer Tom?

Hope you're in good form

Hi mate. I'm all good thanks. Hope you're keeping well. I would say the lads at Treekit or Nod would be the best to ask. I've not heard of anything coming up

Surely you're enough of a splicing maestro at this stage to be doing courses??!?

Not sure about that mate! I'm just good at following instructions!

It's just to create a tidy end for 2 separate ropes on a rope halter (horse). I ended up cutting the core in that area on the outside rope and just pushing the other rope through.  Works well enough ?
