I have used one, it's a monster on conifer bashing jobs, will fill a 7.5 truck in around twenty minutes, my old boss changes the bolts every time the blades are changed on his machine I don't know if that's what you are supposed to do?

They chip.

 

Very heavy

 

Agricultural build quality

 

Apparantly parts can be a nightmare to obtain

 

Tray under bottom roller fills up too fast

 

Big gap between rollers and rotor

We just used to open the tray.

9" bandits are a very good machine IMHO,here's my 150 bandit its a 12" (next size up)Its a very good machine.

 

I would buy the 9" if the price was right,im looking around for a 9" bandit to hire out at the moment.

About every 5th knife change new bolts.

I have been told there may be a problem with the stress control, without seeing it I dont know how difficult it is to fix. Could it be a nightmare or a simple soulution?
