Stihl strimmer flexi shaft jerkyness help

Hi i have a stihl fs 87 with a flexi shaft inside but it seems when i rev the strimmer it has lyk an awkward delayed twisting action not the usual tourque as if the spring inside was faulty lyk a rebound type of thing any one have any ideas please

Just something you could try.  Take the flexi shaft out grease it and fit it in the other way around.  See if that helps the bounce you're experiencing.
