For anybody who(like me) is fascinated by bats, Essex Wildlife Trust have installed an infra red camera in a large bat box at one of their visitor centres and are live streaming the results. This particular roost is the subject of roost counts which have exceeded 1,700 individuals in recent years. Please enjoy the link. :)         https://www.essexwt.org.uk/protecting-wildlife/wildlife-webcams/bat-webcam?fbclid=IwAR3y404pfO3dljTn0FiJp19OEWLBgLdnU9XUy7g2V9daH3gabE9_blrcJ_U

Heres some footage from Derbyshire Bat Group of a box me and a colleague made by boring a chunk of timber out with a chainsaw.  A few years later Leislers bats took up residence. The box was sited somewhere on the Calke Abbey Estate in the south of the county.
