Had my van broken into about two weeks ago in Asda car park Chandlers ford,Eastleigh. Smashed side window and took Husky 372 (not mine, I had just fixed it for somebody!!) Ms 200 and Husky 357.

Van parked in full view broad day light, nobody saw a thing !!

I do hope one day to hear a "happy tai"l of somebody actually catching one of these b*stards and showing them another use for a Swedish fid, we live in hope.:sneaky2:

i wonder how many more reports of stolen chainsaws theres going to be on hear this side of xmas come on everyone dont take your eye of your gear for a second and keep it well out of site.

Why not buy an alarm cable and run it through the handles of saws when on site or in your trucks, it slows the beggars down no end. Most thieves are opportunists, grabbing a few hundred quids worth of kit to flog on quickly so they can get their next fix. Many of us make it far too easy for them tbh.

sometimes you just cant stop em tho. had a trailer go missing off site once.thought it was safe because it had a bulldog lock on it.all they did was wrap a chain around the frame and pulled it that way.

that true enough....amount of times ive seen vans parked in supermarkets/garages with kit on the back and not chained on is unbelivable.some people have no sense, more often then not its not theirs so they dont treat it like it........la bods are the worst for it
