Bandit zt1844 track adjustment

Another question for fellow zt owners...

The instructions for track tension adjustment seem pretty straight forward and were also explained to me on delivery of the machine...

However - what exactly do I use to put the required 45.4kg of force onto the track, so I can measure the deflection??

Thanks in advance.

I will pop a pic of the page from the manual below.1549136929789.jpeg

One would be tempted to say a few concrete blocks plus some bits of metal, pre-weighed on a bathroom scale, however, the 'force' has to be applied perpendicular to the top of the track, and the track is inclined at an angle, so 45.5kg if weight will not equate to 45.5 kg of force. You will need to get a bathroom scale, and strap or tape it to the top of the track, then right up a car jack to the surface of the scale and give it something to push against - probably part of the machine, but maybe improvise with g-clamps, bits of wood etc. Crank the jack untill you get 45.5 kg in the scale.
