Hi all.

Having major problems with two ms201tcm saws. Both start perfect and run fine until put under load and hot. After this they with not start unless throttle is pulled full. Then if chain brake is on and you rev the throttle they will cut out and won’t start unless full throttle again whilst pulling the start cable. Then if they are left in the holder in the cherry picker they will drip fuel from the tank breather filter. Both do exactly the the same. Please help.

Try changing the air filters for new, this model chokes up when air filters get clogged, I have had a few in with the problems you describe and nine times out of ten it's the air filter, no amount of blowing out with an air line will clean the flocked material. I have a rule of thumb, that if you hold the filter up to a bright light and you don't get any light coming through, it needs replacing!

Hope this helps, Regards, Toby
