Cutting it with Battery Power

I've got other Makita cordless tools and they are very durable. 

There was a comparison test between the Makita and the equivalent Sthil in th NHLS newsletter back along. The Sthil did a lot more work on a single charge and the Makita's start trigger is combined with a button which needs to be pressed at the same time which they said was fiddly, otherwise a good saw but they'd still have the Sthil. I wouldn't rule the Makita out but I'd want to be able to fast charge it in an hour via an inverter from my car. Be nice to try one somewhere.
