I bought these ladders last year sometime, they have proved to be a stunning bit of kit.

 

When they are up fully, they are rock solid, you feel realy secure on them, I stand on the top rung no problems.

 

They are Little Giant Ladder System Type 1A 6 rung

 

Brilliant for thos sh1tty conifers jobs

 

Some of the repeat jobs I used to struggle with are a breeze with these.

I use these, have 3, 8' (found on road), 10', 16'.

 

You have these over there?

 

yep we have two of them for our fruit orchard at home really usefull for getting in to the branch tips easily, as long as the ground is level! not much fun on slopes

 

think thats the benefit of the ladders in the first pic, you can set them on split level terrain a bit easier eg up steps
