What you wrote is exactly what I do for the same reasons, it's nice to be outside and gathering wood i love it loads, cabin fever is boring.

no bought that from Amazon pretty cheap. He keeps an eye on the boat while I am off playing out.

No, i’m not. Would love to be able to do a lot more with wood in general, making furniture, turning, sculpting. Maybe i’ll learn a bit in my later years when i have less to do but at the min i just buy what i see if i like it.
We have the same duck, wears its name tag as “numpty” [emoji38]

Yer I live on a farm mooring with woods, middle of beyond no horrid people about apart from wondering Ramblers (I call some of them numptys)

 

Now I need a name tag for my duck 'ps off stop being nosey'  lol

Yep but the ducks and geese are right twonks to put it politely.  They tap on my boat at 4 am with their beaks asking for bread, thus is why I was looking at electric chainsaws.??
