12v wiring fuse question

They are quite bulký things to wire in. Mate has them on his, and they drain the battery if you do not use the machine for more than a couple of days.

Easy to find and rip out in the event of theft

Thats ok then, you will just lose 40secs of time on your new clock for every start, when you have it wired up pull a wire off the fan to check that the crusher jaws stop working as the relay/circuit could see the new clock as the fan working.

If the jaws continue to work you would have to find another supply for the clock.

Thats a very good point, hadnt thought of that!
