Can I take it no one has a bad word to say about Greenmech chippers?

I'm torn between Tw's and Greenmech

Not alot of people buy them but lots and lots of people buy timberwolf.

Kinda speaks for itsself.

I have a timberwolf i looked at different ones they are just easy to fix and a really good tool.

I've got one of these -

Greenmech Chipmaster 260MT70, 10" capacity, 70hp Isuzu diesel. Got it brand new just over a year ago, always had brand new Timberwolfs in the past but they're pretty pathetic in comparison. Much better build quality, the disc blades are superb - go much, much longer between sharpens. With the Timberwolfs there's always something that needs doing. You get what you pay for.

Had a brand new 7 inch Greenmech on hire before christmas- appalling machine performance wise, 12 year old Lister powered 6 inch Bandit was outchipping it!

Greenmech don't make a 7" machine.:fisheye:

Sorry my mistake, checked hire records 220/ 55- guess this means 8 inch 55 hp, still was lacking in chipping performance and what is that plastic curtain all about in the infeed?

... we dont need 10 inch when 6 will do the same job if you plan your work well a 6 inch machine is a god send

remember 2.5 tonnes an hour 6 inch chips thats the days work you wont be chipping it all in 30 mins any how.

for the english market we love our compact machines that one man can carry my machine weighs 570kg ...
