For nearly 20 years now I have only eaten peanut butter sandwiches , every day , sun pat ( crunchy ) wholemeal bread  !!

I can relate to that.

buy a gammon joint from supermarket (morrisons quite often do offers 3 for 10 quid and you can freeze 2) and roast it. theres loads of recipes out there but my fave is boil it in dr pepper for an hour then move to the oven for another hour, last half an hour take lid off tin and glaze ham with cherry jam. best damn ham sandwhich you'll ever have. plus youll have shedloads of gammon leftover in the fridge ready for the next few days...
