I happened to notice my grease gun, which was in the bouncing hot shed had leaked slightly.

The viscosity of the grease was more like oil. It started me thinking, do we need to pay attention to greased parts in this hot weather?, do moving parts get any hotter than usual? And will grease run out of purged bearings if they get hot?

I've had the chain oil leaking out of me 560 like a b*tch as it's been living in the boot of the car for the last couple weeks - the stuff goes to water when it's this warm!
