Has anyone experience of replacing the master cylinders on this old telehandler? On first look it seems the whole binnacle with pedals, instruments and steering  control has to come off the get at them.

Can`t help with removing the master cylinders, but I seen to recall that they don't use normal brake fluid.

That's right, like other JCBs it uses a mineral oil in the brake circuit. I'm not sure whether this one failed from seals reacting to wrong fluid or simple contamination by crap.

I`m sure I`ve got a workshop manual, or at least parts book for a white cab 3cx some where, I think they where the same type of dash set up, I`ll see if I can find it.

Had a good look through my books here, and only got the operators manual and parts book for the white cab 3cx, no workshop manual unfortunately, other than for a 4.98 engine.

The parts book wont be much help I don't think, showing the master cylinder in one picture, and the pedal box in an other.
