Anyone else got this in there area?

I'm not sure (because I haven't read about it) how it got started but from what I can gather a lady in the village set our local one up. Take no notice of some of the things that wiki says, you don't need to give credit card details or your full address, you do need to give your real name and street name. It's quite new around here, about 700 people have signed up to date but that number has been growing since it started at the back end of last year.

 

Anyway, I stuck an advert on there last Monday evening advertising the pressure washing side of my businessn, never got a single reply!...... Wednesday morning the phone rang it was a local lady who want some work done, "No problem" i says. Went to price her job on Saturday morning and got the job, while I was there her sister turned up and wanted her patio cleaning, priced that from what she told me, subject to that being correct. In the meantime the phone rang twice on Friday, I'm going to quote them tomorrow. I've asked them both if they are happy with the work to leave a short review on the Nexrdoor website, I'll do the same tomorrow.

 

Not bad going for a free ad on a free website, imho.
