I keep it like washed fortnightly, but not to that standard it has to be said!
Dealer does this mid season and end of season as it goes in for new blades and any bits that need doing in July when I go away for a week.
It was fairly dirty this time as I used it 2 weeks ago and it got muddy as ground was sodden. Too wet really but the customer is “always” right as they say!
This was a big service this time with new cylinders/blades all round, new ram pins, arm pins bushes etc all new tyres.
Well worth it as it looks good and works properly.

Aye, mine's been good, pretty robust and cuts pretty well, nice and quick too.  As has previously been said if the grass is wet and long you'd have to go over it high first then drop down, but generally it's fine.
