Im trying to find the trauma pack for my 'big' first aid kit, before i part with the cash just want some convincing!

It lasts for 5 years so look at it as £3.00 per year (or 25p per month). And if you use it in that tine it was worth it anyway.

The cost of a packet is ok, but I am looking at the trauma pack (puncture wound syringes etc) and the implications of using them
