The idlers in the middle def have a lip. Can't remember about the main pulleys at either end. Are they supposed to have a pronounced lip as well?


No, just the idlers.

Mine was doing this regularly and Danequip took the mount off for the idler and welded it back on sloping back slightly. Not had a problem since.

You jinxed me! Bloody belt went this morning. First time in months!

Having looked closer at the top idler bearing mount I would say it's been wacked with a big hammer to bend it back slightly.

Did the job though.
