A tunnissen chipper recently turned up at work for repair,  I think it's a 190 after doing a bit of research, however we have no manuals and Google isn't helping much.

The problem is it keeps going into override, I've looked through this forum and one guy was talking about adjusting it's rpm but from what he described the controls are a little different on this one,  I have a down arrow, a set button and an up arrow,  no amount of holding down or any combination will allow me to change any values, all I can do is change what info is displayed, has anyone any experience with this?

I'm at my wits end worth the flipping thing,  any help would be great.

That sounds very much like an EHB box.

GreenMech used EHB boxes for a while and to programme them you had to hold in the set button whilst turning on the ignition and then enter a code using the up and down buttons.. ..

Thanks lads, I'll try both on Monday, Jase I think that's the only thing I didn't do, hold it in with ignition off, good call.

Thanks again.

Thanks jase, am I on the right track doing this?  It keeps going into override after a few minutes of use so I'm attempting to lower the rpm value it trips out at.

If, and that's a big if, it does have the same software that GreenMech use then after you have entered the code and pressed the set button you can then scroll around the menu options using the up/down keys.

On a GreenMech the first option is 'function select ' , you press set again to enter this menu then scroll to 'roller start/roller stop ' using the up or down keys.

When you have found the one you want to change press set again to enter the function then alter the setting with the up and down keys and once you're happy with the value entered then press set to exit.

You have to exit the programming by finding the prompt : exit select.... then press set, wait for the timer to count down then turn the ignition off to store the new settings...

I hope this maybe of some help but I've no idea if it will work as it's for a GreenMech....

Any further thoughts? You could try ringing Gibson's at Colne, TS come in via PSD, a division of Gibson's. Or, ring Timberwolf and ask for Jeremy Smithers for help as he used to be the sole UK contact for TS.

Good advice from Jason mind, TS, Schiesling and a couple of others used the German made EHB box.

Jase was right about everything except there was no roller start/stop option,  I changed minimum rpm instead and tested it for a bit and it seemed good, have to wait for the customer to give it a proper work out but yeah,  think we're all good.
