2 years ago this month RDS  (the makers) charged me £210+VAT for a rebuild for one, including new led display off a mk1 safetrak

Thanks mate this is a towable one but I brought it with the stress control not working so was hoping it wasn't or much the lights on the board don't work either so do you mean you got all yours done to for £240+vat thanks

Sounds like you'd better post on the Greenmech page and wait for Jason to advise, it may not be the board.

 

I've been out of it for a while so cannot remember but some of the machines engine speed was sensed off the alternator, so if that didn't work the stress control didn't either.

 

The total cost of a refurbished board was £210 plus Vat and the postage of the old board to them, I think the board was the same on the road tow 150s.

Hi jase none on the lights work on the board either and I was told it was the stress control box I brought in like it is so what do you suggest as would no where to start but do no there's no lights working at all thanks

Glenn, If it's an EC150/25D, ie, Lister engine 6" then it should only have one light on the dash panel which is the 'charge light ' and the 'no stress' LED on the 'no stress' box, which appears on the dash panel....

It would have had the ‘no stress’ fitted from new, some just live without it if it fails....
