Just had 3 or 4 hours fabricating the latest splitting wedge , ( mark 4 version ) & back to basics.  Should have time to run a test tomorrow if all goes to plan :|

Just finished testing the mk5 splitting wedge, Now working 100%  , " The axe head met the band saw just after lunch today  " , the job's sorted now :001_smile:

Next job will be to make & add a hydraulic elevator to get the firewood " up off the ground " into bags or old 1 ton potato boxes for storage ( & that's one handed operation )
