What course should i do?

I'm looking to change careers into this industry and want some help with the best way to go about it.

What courses would I need to get work doing on the ground stuff maybe and then look to gain more qualications as I go, or would I be better  to find a full course. I've seen some online courses over a couple of years that might be good as I need to stay in full time employment but are they recognized?

 

Any help would greatly appreciated.

Towing license is also a big plus these days

An apprenticeship.

You won't get paid much but you'll get plenty of qualifications and more importantly lots of experience.
With the right company, college and attitude/work ethic you will end up qualified and actually able to do the job (all be it, to a very basic level).

Just remember it's a trade off.
You get experience and qualifications.
The employer gets cheap labour.
