desperate to get into arboriculture! :)

Hey,

 

Just thought i would put a post on here! as not had much luck upto now!

 

i am looking for a trainee.apprentice role within in a company in the staffordshire/cheshire or derbyshire area as i dnt mind traveling at all!

 

I have my cs30 coming up, but that will be it! i have no other experience i intend to go on and do the other cs39/9 when funds and time off work allow!

 

i am 21 and have massive intrest in this industry, i no theese jobs seem few and far between for people with little and no experience,.. but any help suggestions will be greatly appreciated, many thanks nathan

Hi Nathan,

Have you tried calling round all your local tree gangs? Yellow pages etc. Worth a try just to build up some experience, don't expect to be earning mega bucks to start off & expect some hard days work, perserverence is the main thing. GOOD LUCK.

Hey chris thanks for that! i have called round, not to much luck as yet! but i am still trying :)

 

as for money i will work for free to start with and on a low rate to get into it:)

whatever it takes really

Try all the big power line companys, UPM tilhill, BTS, WCE, They might be the best bet for a traineeship these days :thumbup1:

Telling people your nearest town might help on here

Those 3 counties cover a very big area to travel round

where are you doing your training can they not help

ahh thanks for tht good point lol! I am based in leek, Near stoke on trent, buxton, macclesfield! but will travel further than theese locations!

Righto, get yourself to Hull for 7:30 a.m 2moro morning, Ive got some conifer bashing with a massive drag out to get done. Bring water proofs, but dont bother with sandwhiches cos you wont have time. See you in the morning.
