if you need a decent tree surgeon to carry out the work i may have a day available

I'm hoping to get the upper grant, but it would still nowhere near cover the costs, I'm waiting for them to contact me to arrange a site visit.

My yard is literally the other side of the motorway to your Bradley yard, literally 200m away

Had a quick go wi mi little tractor, see how they come out, before I meet with forestry officer next week.

It's only a little 30hp which was prone to picking up the back end when lifting anything heavy, so I filled the back tyres with water/antifreeze and stuck the log splitter on which I have just got off Chris Shep.

Dunt pick back end up now:icon14:

Indeed..your woodland first needs to qualify as to its classification ( ancient, paws, other semi natural etc...) in order to even be considered. If you have any docs relating to the history of the site this will help some. You may get a grant. It is 50% of the costs that are already carefully calculated by the commission and dependent then on the nature of the topography ( ie How much of a problem they consider the site to present.)

Consider gettin' a howie ...£1000 a day but itrs a one stop shop???
