Yew & Elm wanted

I've just bought a laser cutter, and am looking to experiment with solid woods, instead of various ply. Ideally, I'd like to make an arrow case/box if possible.

I have a cutting/engraving bed size 1200 x 900mm, so anything up to those sizes will do nicely.

I'd like to find some yew or elm that has been run through a planer/thicknesser already if possible (not an issue if not though, my local college has someone that can do that for me). My ideal thickness is 6mm. I'd really like to find some 3mm too, but that's going to be a real challenge I think.

12/13mm could work too, but I might be pushing the machine to the extreme of it's limits (but that's what experimentaion is all about, right?)

Is there anyone here that can supply me, or point me in the right direction please?

Many thanks.
