  2. Please call me to discuss. We have a tree shear and will be able to sort the whole job from shearing to chipping for you if you like. We are local too so transport won't be too much either. I tend not to spend much time on the forum so please call me on 07977 106671,
  3. I am interested, I can load and collect, how much do you have ? 07977106671
  4. Late I know! Milner are great for al jap parts but I've got two complete rear bodies with lights in if you want some genuine ones? 07977106671
  5. Sorry to hear about your situation. It's always a worry leaving a Machines on site even with security. Hope it gets sorted soon.
  6. If the trees are coming down due to the root system causing direct damage to a wall then it sounds fairly simple. Telephone your local FC officer and explain the situation. He may even come and have a look the same day with you. The system is a little more flexible than TPO's and conservation area applications, and you local officer can give you the green light straight away without all the paperwork needed if he agrees with the reasoning behind the felling. If he does disagree with you then at least you saved yourself a spot of trouble if you had of carried on and got reported.
  7. I think people should understand the wildlife and countryside act and know the ins and outs of the animals classed as vermin on the list and the conditions that must be abided by before dispatching said vermin. I for one am a country sports man with country sports in my blood. And whilst I may have my own opinion on the main contents of this thread. I am shocked that certain terminology has been used within the thread to insult others and the cost of offending others with certain health issues. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE! This forum can be accessed by anybody, and indeed can in certain curmcumstances direct people through to threads from a google search. It is completely unacceptable in this day and age to use terms such as 'retard'!!!!!!! Stick to professionalism for the industry sake. If you have strong feelings about a certain issue and feel the need to make your self heard via insults then do a YouTube video or go on face book for everybody to see what sort of inconsiderate person you are. THE END!
  8. The AA approved contractor scheme caters for all sizes of businesses. The requirements of the scheme are based on legal compliance for the size of the company. There are approved contractors out there that only have one employee with no office etc. Unfortunately you only hear about the larger firms. Have a look into it, you may be supprised!
  9. That does ring a bell. How time flies!!! Hope your keeping well!
  10. Here's a picture of out 2 x 14 ton tree shears working hard in Peterborough this week
  11. Haven't even bothered watching the video as he'd get sacked working for me if he did a gob cut that big felling commercial woodland timber!
  12. If it's worth that amount I would be rich with the contents of my yard😁
  13. Thanks, I looked at several manufacturers but really like the options doosan give you. The cost is also competitive. To be honest though all machines will pretty much do the same thing it comes down to personal preference and back up support. Having a local dealer really helped
  14. Having been mind boggled by the electronics on this machine at the hand over I don't think anybody would consider modifying anything on the machine. Besides, the whole machines computer is monitored remotely by doosan and can pretty much tell them if we sneeze too loudly!! This would also cause slight issues with the warranty. To overcome the visability issue we have had 360 cameras fitted today so we don't even need windows now 😂 Guarding is certainly something that I always wanted on the mec but the logistics and cost of fitting it to such an odd ball machine was not reasonable, also considering it was never going to be kept for too long meant there were things that were always going to be needed doing. As a company, we hold numerous accreditation,. AA approved, chas and ISO's so compliance was always important. When we did not have FOPS guarding we had very detailed risk assessments with stringent exceptions to how we used the machine with the shear. Like many machines nowadays the cab was FOPS certified but it obviously lacked the window guarding. The new machine is obviously something different entirely and I went a bit bad with the optional extras. It will be having Ram guards and undercarriage plates fitted when it comes back in from the first job, it was all meant to be done before we took delivery but unfortunately the dealer did not have enough time to fit it with my tight deadline. Our first job is about 8klm of roadside work so hopefully the lack of additional machine guarding will not be an issue (I hope) The shear is an absolute dream to use on this machine and appears to be well suited. The adjustments on the excavator allow it all to be set extremely user friendly. I am looking forward to watching it on site next week.
  15. We could shear it all and stack it or even feed it into your chipper if you like. Contact me on 07977106671 if it's any use
  16. Here's a few pictures of our new machine being delivered this week. One very happy operator now!
  17. Here is the new digger just being kitted out at the dealer before delivery after Christmas. Can't wait to get the shear on her and get going!!!
  18. She is a deutz straight 6. 155hp block with a turbo. The turbo should in theory take it to about 200hp I don't have any video but will get some after Christmas.
  19. I will post some more pictures when I get time. The machine you are refering to is someway from this one. That machine is as you say a small rayco on a 1.5 ton machine. Mine is based on a 5 ton pell job (Volvo) and powers a revolution hd disk via hydraulics from the massive 200hp straight 6 that has been shoe horned in the rear. It will out perform a hurricane hands down and sat in A comfy seat too😀
  20. Here is a picture of our grinder having just ground out a row of some 100 stumps's in a couple of hours
  21. I have loads of yew near Kenilworth, call me on 07977106671
