Description

84hp Bi- Directional tractor

Antonio Carraro 9400 TTR

Year of manufacture 2003

Alpine/ Steep Slope tractor -

1917 hrs of use – low hours

Very good condition.

I am the third owner of this tractor, it was bought by a golf course to flail rough grassy areas  – it was then purchased by a Welsh dealer who bought it and sold it to me almost straight away so I guess he purchased it to sell it on for a quick profit.

My need for the tractor (other than always having wanted one) was to carry out a ground works project on a very steep section of woodland here cutting some tracks through brambles.

Finding a large hp bi-directional alpine second hand is super rare and if I had more space I would certainly keep it -  but unfortunately I do not really have enough regular work to justify keeping it.

The tractor has been barn stored barn stored since we have owned it and the welsh dealer informed me that the Golf Course kept it dry stored as well - its cleaner than my car!!  so I guess the golf course groundsmen also enjoyed cleaning and polishing it as well 😊

Tractor is in great condition overall for its age –

Good points

Bi-directional tractor – so simple to change the steering wheel and seat etc to face the other way (30 seconds I would estimate if your doing it slowly 😊)

Amazing to drive – very sure footed- designed to work on seriously steep slopes

Great off road – we have used for some light forestry work and mulching and the mulcher although the specs states 4cm max mulching capacity is an absolute beast and although I would never abuse a mulcher – I found that whatever it met it ate

All glass and light lenses 100%

Bad points

When we purchased the tractor air con was not connected (however the tractor has so many windows that this has not worried us) – probably an easy fix if you had time

One interior window clip is missing but the individual window has another latch and this holds the window secure just fine – so simply have not worried about this.

Small Oil leak – does not affect performance and does not need regular topping up so again we have not investigated this  - it could be something as simple as a pipe (but we have priced the tractor accordingly to allow for this fix)

Kirkland Tractors import Antonio Carraro into the UK and a guy called Ben Short works in the parts department at Kirkland (his email is [email protected]

I know this as in preparation of our sale we purchased a couple of broken light lens from him a few weeks ago (i have included this information to assist the new owner – these tractors are incredibly popular in Europe and so all parts are available off the shelf)

A Flail Mower is also included in the sale – This is a Ferri MT200, this is not a mower for formal lawns – its designed to clear overgrown areas with thick vegetation

The flail is also bi-directional and so you can mow towing it or mow facing forwards

Good Points

Mulch material upto 4cm in diameter and leaves a really good rough cut finish

2 metres wide – so you can cover large areas quickly

The flail has a hydraulic side shift which is really useful

Recent respray and sticker set so that it matches the tractor now in appearance 😊

Bad points

Few of the metal guards that hang down along the rear tail guard are bent and one or two are missing – easy repair.
