84hp Bi- Directional tractor Antonio Carraro 9400 TTR Year of manufacture 2003 Alpine/ Steep Slope tractor - 1917 hrs of use – low hours Very good condition. I am the third owner of this tractor, it was bought by a golf course to flail rough grassy areas – it was then purchased by a Welsh dealer who bought it and sold it to me almost straight away so I guess he purchased it to sell it on for a quick profit. My need for the tractor (other than always having wanted one) was to carry out a ground works project on a very steep section of woodland here cutting some tracks through brambles. Finding a large hp bi-directional alpine second hand is super rare and if I had more space I would certainly keep it - but unfortunately I do not really have enough regular work to justify keeping it. The tractor has been barn stored barn stored since we have owned it and the welsh dealer informed me that the Golf Course kept it dry stored as well - its cleaner than my car!! so I guess the golf course groundsmen also enjoyed cleaning and polishing it as well 😊 Tractor is in great condition overall for its age – Good points Bi-directional tractor – so simple to change the steering wheel and seat etc to face the other way (30 seconds I would estimate if your doing it slowly 😊) Amazing to drive – very sure footed- designed to work on seriously steep slopes Great off road – we have used for some light forestry work and mulching and the mulcher although the specs states 4cm max mulching capacity is an absolute beast and although I would never abuse a mulcher – I found that whatever it met it ate All glass and light lenses 100% Bad points When we purchased the tractor air con was not connected (however the tractor has so many windows that this has not worried us) – probably an easy fix if you had time One interior window clip is missing but the individual window has another latch and this holds the window secure just fine – so simply have not worried about this. Small Oil leak – does not affect performance and does not need regular topping up so again we have not investigated this - it could be something as simple as a pipe (but we have priced the tractor accordingly to allow for this fix) Kirkland Tractors import Antonio Carraro into the UK and a guy called Ben Short works in the parts department at Kirkland (his email is [email protected] I know this as in preparation of our sale we purchased a couple of broken light lens from him a few weeks ago (i have included this information to assist the new owner – these tractors are incredibly popular in Europe and so all parts are available off the shelf) A Flail Mower is also included in the sale – This is a Ferri MT200, this is not a mower for formal lawns – its designed to clear overgrown areas with thick vegetation The flail is also bi-directional and so you can mow towing it or mow facing forwards Good Points Mulch material upto 4cm in diameter and leaves a really good rough cut finish 2 metres wide – so you can cover large areas quickly The flail has a hydraulic side shift which is really useful Recent respray and sticker set so that it matches the tractor now in appearance 😊 Bad points Few of the metal guards that hang down along the rear tail guard are bent and one or two are missing – easy repair. To view or for any questions please contact me through messenger – thankyou for looking. £18500 ONO No VAT

  4. Hello everyone in the colchester/Ipswich area. 07756811098 It struck me me that I have a lot of equipment that most other Arb companies don’t have because they feel that they don’t have the work to warrant buying it. So when you get a job where there’s a long drag and you need an ARB TROLLEY call me! So when you get a job with terrible access but the customer is happy to keep the chip and you need a GREENMECH CS 100 call me! So when you have to extract loads of timber, dont want ring it up and you need a MULTIONE WITH A TIMBER GRAB call me! So when you need to winch something out of somewhere and you need a POWER WINCH WITH A 200m PULL LINE call me! Etc etc the list goes on and on I’m not going to list everything I own because it would boar you! or when you just need anything that a general arb company has, truck, 6” chipper, rigging kit, 880 we have all that aswell because I know the feeling when something breaks, you need to finish the job and the local hire company looks at you like WTF when you say have you got a chainsaw with a 72” bar! I think you get get the idea. I have most gear that most other people don’t have and if I don’t I know someone who has. I hire all my equipment out for the first time with a skilled and qualified operator if we feel your trustworthy the 2nd time you hire we will hire direct to you providing we have a deposit. Feel free to give me me a call. The right bit of kit on the right job can make you life easier and your bank account richer! 07756811098
  5. Hi all, Long story short I have a job to price up and I need an operator and tractor with hedge flail. Its about 9-10 ft high in places and is a mixture of species Its about 100 yards by 120yards both sides need doing its a domestic job for a house but mess isn't an issue.. Anyone got the kit ? And if so how much for someone for a few hours with the kit? Its in the outskirts of Gainsborough and Lincoln. Its more cost effective for all with tractor and kit rather than and cutting. Cheers, jamie
  6. Hiya, I'm trying to come up with an ideal machine for cutting firebreaks on heathland. The cuttings need to be removed from the break for it to be effective. The established breaks are mostly grasses with young heather and gorses - c. 1yo, so very small. New firebreaks would be more of the same but much denser and up to 4' high in places. We currently use a Rytec flail collector on a 46hp Massey which does a good job but needs emptying so often it's really slow. The ground is uneven and rocky in places so 3pt linkage mounted machine would be ideal. In the past we've cut with the flail collector lid off and the cuttings have been blown into the air and away off the break if the wind is in the right direction, not always the case. I was thinking of a beefed up forage harvester to blast the cuttings in any given direction, and came across a: Kuhn TRP 145 CV - google it as I've only got a large pdf with it in. It looks good, but is not cheap (c. £10k) and requires a higher powered tractor than ours (we could hire one for the job but not ideal). Any thoughts on this, or alternative suggestions would be much appreciated. Many thanks, Sean Cornwall Wildlife Trust
