Problem starting echo 360

Revs picked up on my top handled echo like it was running out of fuel. Fueled it up but couldn't start it afterwards. Primer bubble fills with fuel but then stays depressed for ages like its struggling to pull through fuel. Will start with fuel tipped directly in carb but won't stay running. Haven't investigated much further its the only echo I've had, not very familiar with them. Fuel filter in tank looks clean.

If your purge bulb is staying depressed it means that there is a blockage in the fuel pickup.

This could be a completely blocked tank filter (highly unlikely)

Or a kinked, trapped or otherwise restricted fuel pick up hose (most likely)

Or a blocked mesh filter in carb (possible)

Or a stuck inlet valve on the pumping diaphragm (unlikely)

Good luck
