just done a bigger pond in garden. i would like to landscape it properly have marginals plants iris etc and some plants in pond. big trouble is. stella and carlsberg,6x and speckled hen the geese. are a nightmare. i know if i try and plant anything will destroy it. can not fence it as they use it. but do not want as last one just a hole with dirty water in and nothing else.

i know proper ponds and lakes have geese and things grow ok. so what do i do.

only thing i may have to do is do a section at a time around edge fence it let it get established then open it up and fence a different section.

only dug it last night and filled it and there in there having fun.
