Woodland Management Plans - what would you charge to write one...

Recommended Posts

I'm not fishing for info really, just wondering what anyone else gets asked to do in this area and whether these figures sound about right? I don't do that many, perhaps one a month but currently charge approx an hourly rate for site visit etc and then approx £500 for a 20 year plan, roughly based on the standard FC format with a few extras here and there; supporting info etc. Any thoughts?!

Oh no! Been called on to do a biggy and don't feel as competent as I was in the past. Maybe I'm being hard on myself but I don't want to goof up since work from this will be loads. Back around the late nineties I was writing basic and intermediate plans regularly and quite enjoyed it. Jaded and rusty now; has much changed in a decade?
