I think we live in the same area ?? im based in brighton. i tried hiring one before buying it but there doesnt seem to be many places which have them . if you only need it for a day maybe see if you could Demo one from godfreys ?

Yeah were in eastbourne bud, I've been hunting got to try pc machinery tomorrow failing that ill call Oliver! What's the score with demos? For example I don't want to purchase it I simply need it for a day do you collect the night before or do they turn up on site and hang around?! Literally never done it. Cheers Ash

When I demoed mine I went to the show room saw Oliver and was like can I try it, he wheeled it out the show room I tried and I bought. But I know other guys have had them on site before. What's it you looking to do? I never rent mine out but I guess Deppends what it is I might be able to help if no one else can. Thing I like about it is that you can actually chip 4" bits with easy so unlike a lot of the other chippers in it cat where its 4" but really only does 2".
