First post in the woodcraft section guys, I wouldn't consider myself skilled making something useful/nice from wood but while helping my bosses father in law in his yard I found some lovely planks of yew that have been in the shed for 25+ years ! They seem to be in good condition to my eyes, just wondering what I could use them for ? Any suggestions much appreciated

Tabletop (coffee table) the missus suggested, suppose I can get some metal legs made up? Just got the sander out and gave one board a going over will look nice when the saw marks are sanded out :)

Theyll look even better then a finish is applied. Always surprises me when the grain and colouring just pops out

How thick are they ?

Make a nice wine rack ,sanded oiled and holes of about 30mm drilled at 37.5 degree off horizontal to hold neck of bottles , secured to a masonry wall as don't think a timber framed house will support the weight
