More Owls

I posted one of these pics on FB explaining that i had carved it to replace a previous carving i had completed for a customer last year, which had split
So this was a freebie and i can now repair the original and who knows, maybe sell that on.

Sorry to be naive, but don't log carvings usually split? Lovely carving by the way
