The role: Tree surgery Aerial and ground based works Liaising with management and customers to ensure a high standard of work Working as part of a motivated team or Independently to a high standard Following all Health and Safety guidelines Liaising and communicating with contractors and customers The ideal candidate will: Be fully ticketed including Ariel Rescue Have a full driving license Have at least 4 years climbing experience Be able to perform manual tasks in an outdoor environment Have good time keeping skills Have good organisational skills Excellent communication skills with a highly flexible approach Be a good team player to work alongside our current team Be self motivated and trustworthy Have good management skills Proven experience in Arboriculture Will consider subcontractors Potential overtime available at increased rates of pay Normal hours 6.30 - 3.30 Monday to Friday Job Type: Permanent
  3. I've just got back from New Zealand and i'll be here for a few months. I am a self-employed climber looking for a couple of days a week, ideally in the Gloucestershire area but I'm willing to commute further if people are in need of a good worker and can offer a good rate of pay. I have 5 years experience in the industry, 3 years as a subby climber. I have a Level 3 extended diploma in Arboriculture with distinction Tickets from chipper to rigging, first aid and full clean licence. I'm hard working and easy going, with good organisation and communication skills and experience in all aspects of tree work and all operations like reductions etc are carried out to the highest standard. Our client is a tree surgery business based in Gloucestershire, operating throughout the county and the surrounding areas carrying out primarily commercial arboricultural works (utility, construction, amenities) with a small amount of domestic work. Due to expansion of the business, they are searching for a full time climber to fit in with one of their existing teams. Qualifications Required Essential: NPTC CS30, 31, 38, 39 or equivalent First Aid Full, clean UK driving licence In return good rates of pay to be determined based on qualifications/experience 28 days annual leave entitlement - 5 days a week, 8 hours plus travel.
