  1. Hi, I'm a subby arborist based in norfolk currently looking for work within the area (sub contract or full time) I have my 30 31 38 39 b+e and chipper ticket as well as the usual climbing kit, top handle and ground saw. I would also like to pursue work outside of the UK in Europe, ideally Germany or Sweden if the opportunity is there. If you need someone or have any questions please feel free to get in touch and I can also send my cv to you with more details if required. Cheers, Ryan.
  2. Hi guys I'm looking to do some work in Europe over the summer preferably in the Alsace region of France or nearby areas in Germany and Switzerland. I have a flat in Strasbourg and will be buying a car when I’m out there. My certification is the basic four: 30,31,38,39 along with 41, use of a chainsaw in a MEWP, Stump Grinder and Chipper along with Forestry First Aid. By the end of June i will also have 32 and 40. I have basic Knowledge of French so far but i am taking lessons but my girlfriend speaks fluent french so any admin won’t be a problem. If anyone knows any companies or are yourself looking for someone just leave a reply and I’ll get in touch.
  3. i've been asked to quote for a job in the south of france, but the insurers aren't so keen, it seem's like i've got my public liability to agree to it, but insuring my self ? if anything happens i'll bare the full cost of the medical bills say hopefully in the worst case one of us needs to be air lifted to a hospital ? anyone know who could help me out ? any one of any experience working in france before ? Cheers Alex

About

Arbtalk.co.uk is a hub for the arboriculture industry in the UK.
If you're just starting out and you need business, equipment, tech or training support you're in the right place.  If you've done it, made it, got a van load of oily t-shirts and have decided to give something back by sharing your knowledge or wisdom,  then you're welcome too.
If you would like to contribute to making this industry more effective and safe then welcome.
Just like a living tree, it'll always be a work in progress.
Please have a look around, sign up, share and contribute the best you have.

See you inside.
