  1. Due to a Massive Decline in available labour in the Arboriculture field in Oz, Bolans Tree Service are looking at Employing good Climbers or Groundies -With a Truck License. The job would be full time and registered through official channels. We went through the process a few years ago with remarkable success, and would like to give it another go. We hold you Pommies in high regard for your spikeless climbing and pruning abilities, however we also do alot of takedowns using cranes, and sometimes even helicopters- something we can work with you on.   2. About the job Would you like to work for a respected, forward thinking and well established AA Approved Company? We are based near Thame in Oxfordshire and are looking for an experienced person to join us as a lead climber also able to work within the team in a variety of roles. The work is varied and interesting with a strong emphasis on quality. You will be given all of the resources you need to deliver high quality tree work for a range of clients. You will be part of an experienced team with a good work ethic. You will need to have very good climbing and pruning skills and be able to undertake rigging operations. A reasonable knowledge and genuine interest in arboriculture as well as the practical skills will be expected. The successful applicant will need to communicate effectively and work well with others. Experience with MEWPs and cranes would also be an advantage. We are looking for a candidate who is professional, reliable and adaptable to the range of work and clients that we have. In return we offer a competitive salary with bonus scheme, full holiday entitlements and the opportunity to train further and progress. Preferred Skills English and Maths to a good level. CS tickets up to 41 Experience with MEWPS & cranes. Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships. Full UK license, HGV would be useful.

We are approved contractors for Tillhill, the FC and some other large organisations providing scrub clearance, selective felling, coppicing, hedgelaying, ecological mitigation work, de-veg, invasive species management, bat surveys and veteran tree management We are hoping to build relationships with local subbies that share our ethos. I'm Located In between Windsor and Ascot, Ive the want to expand my Business foot print, but from experience already gained, I know it will take years to achieve. ( but I will start again if I have too) So Im asking the Question: to any Expanding tree work companies if they want to sell me a Franchise of their existing Business?   5. I'm looking for a forestry worker to start work towards the end of February. I currently have a lad working for me but he is going travelling on the 20th Feb and I'll be needing someone to take his place. The majority of my work is hand cutting so a minimum requirement will be the cross cut and small fell tickets. Experience with tractors would be a bonus but is not necessary. Job Title: Team leader/ climbing arborist Location: Westbury (Wiltshire) Salary: Dependant on experience We are currently recruiting for an experienced climber to join our team at Westbury, Wiltshire. The successful candidate must hold NPTC units CS30, 31, 32, 38, 39, have excellent arboricultural knowledge and experience and be able to team lead if required. Accreditation in Chapter 8, EFAW and use of stump grinders would be desirable. The role will also involve completion of health and safety documentation including risk assessments, vehicle and equipment checklists and implementation of tree work specifications to a high standard. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated individual with a flexible approach. A pro active and positive, professional attitude is essential as well as an ability to work well under pressure. A full, clean driver’s license with B+E, Additional category C1+E would be desirable.
